Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC and McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, an international law firm, will co-host the Fifth Annual Buying Trouble Conference. The event will address current issues and trends affecting the distressed market through a series of panel discussions. The conference will be held Tuesday, October 12, 1—5 p.m., at the Westin Buckhead, 3391 Peachtree Road, NE, in Atlanta.
The conference features industry experts who will examine business and legal challenges impacting business and financial transactions involving troubled companies, as well as explore the changing landscape during the informative panel sessions.
Carl Marks Partner Marc L. Pfefferle will serve as moderator and Partner J. Jette Campbell as panelist for the panel, Maximizing Value of Converted Debt. Other panelists will include Andrew Shapiro, Managing Director, BNP Paribas and Michael Watchorn, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Analyst, Pacific Investment Management Company.
