Carl Marks Partner Charles Reardon Serves as Expert Panelist During ABI's 17th Annual Northeast Bankruptcy Conference

Charles C. Reardon, Partner of Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC, will serve among a panel of experts to discuss recent creditor cases involving large senior secured positions that have been challenged during ABI's 17th Annual Northeast Bankruptcy Conference, July 8-11, in Brewster, Massachusetts.

The panel discussion, The Assault on the Secured Creditor, examines the recent TOUSA and Yellowstone cases which involved creditors believing they held large senior positions but learned otherwise.

THE PANEL WILL ANSWER SUCH QUESTIONS AS:

Do these cases signal a trend?
Are these lessons applicable to conventional lending relationships?

The panel also will review decisions involving credit bidding in 363 sales, including Pacific Lumber and the Philadelphia Newspapers case.
