Christopher K. Wu, Managing Director, Carl Marks Advisory Group LLC, will moderate a panel of financial and restructuring experts during the American Bankruptcy Institute's Seventh Annual Complex Financial Restructuring Program in New York, Monday, September 20, at the Fordham University School of Law.
The program offers a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of the roles played by investment bankers, financial advisors and other stakeholders in today's complex cases. To illustrate the events surrounding the financial restructuring process, panelists will examine various aspects of the hypothetical case of "Vandelay Industries Inc.," a maker of plastic products used in various consumer and commercial applications. Experienced professionals will dramatize the roles of the company's constituencies as they examine strategic alternatives and seek the highest value for a troubled company.
Wu will moderate the panel discussion, Valuation of Vandelay: Where Does Value Break in the Capital Structure?, which takes place at 2:00 p.m.
