WHAT'S IT LIKE INTERNING AT FALLS?

My intern experience was everything I didn't know I needed to kick-start my career. It helped polish me into a budding professional, while still enabling me to grow and receive advice and encouragement along the way.

- Janel Hlebak, Communications Intern, Spring 2016

My internship enabled me to grow as a designer, while learning the ins-and-outs of an agency. I was able to leave with a well-formatted resume and design portfolio to further my own professional career.

- Madison Asher, Graphic Design Intern, Summer 2016

Interning at Falls was an eye-opening experience for me. I grew as a PR professional by working firsthand for various impressive clients and was lucky enough to work closely with some amazing, caring coworkers.

- Malone Ryan, Communications Intern, Summer/Fall 2016

The program was a great introduction to the public relations world. As a journalist, Falls did a great job of getting me up-to-speed with every aspect of PR. I came out of the program ready for a full-time role.

- Hayden Harrison, Communications Intern, Summer/Fall 2015

Being a Falls intern is a challenging and rewarding experience. I gained valuable insight into how the agency world works and participated in real hands-on projects.

- Katie Cameron, Communications Intern, Summer 2014

WHAT'S THE SECRET TO STANDING OUT?

Start with a stellar resume, work samples and interview. Here are a few useful tips to help you wow us from start to finish.

Tell Us
Your Story
We're storytellers. Show us that you are, too. When you apply, use the submission form to tell us what we need to know about you that isn't in your resume.
Capitalize
on Your Creative Side
Stand out with a creatively designed or organized resume format, or grab our attention with an engaging cover letter. Let your writing skills and innovative thinking shine.
Do Your
Research
We want to know why you want our internship. Do some research on our company and come prepared to answer the question "Why Falls?"
Proofread,
Proofread,
Proofread
Errors in your resume and cover letter are a major don't. Proofread by reading out loud, or ask someone else to review. Check and double check before you hit send.
Share Specific Examples
In your resume and during the interview, share detailed examples of how your previous experiences have prepared you for life at Falls. And don't forget your portfolio.
Dress to Impress
Feel free to showcase your personal style but make sure your attire is neat, clean and professional.
Ask Away
Not only are we interviewing you, but we expect you to interview us. Come ready with questions to help you learn more about Falls, so you'll know if we're the right fit.
Stay in
Touch
A thank you note goes a long way. Follow up after the interview to make sure we know you're excited to join the team and reinforce why we have to hire you.
