Hillcrest and Lakewood Hospitals are suburban hubs of the Cleveland Clinic
Neurological Institute. To motivate private practice doctors near those hospitals to
refer their patients to those hospitals, we developed a unique dimensional mailer
with a low-cost pen with a mini brain floating in liquid. In three months,
that simple, memorable piece resulted in 301 doctors referred 2,355 patients and
